How You Can Help

Animal House is home to more than 200 kittens and cats. The care our feline residents get is top-notch, focused on helping homeless cats to rebound and get ready to connect with a lifelong family. With a very small staff, this isn’t possible without dedicated volunteers who come by regularly to provide caring attention.

There is a wide range of roles here, and we make an effort to match volunteers with work that’s comfortable and meaningful for them. Lots of our volunteers come by just to spend time socializing cats. Others fold laundry, wash and fill food bowls, and make sure cat enclosures stay clean. This is work that happens seven days a week, and it’s essential to Animal House operations. But that’s not the only opportunity for volunteers to help Animal House.
